Anna Stasevich was born in Kaluga. After graduating with honors from the school at the Conservatory (the class of Olga Galochkina) and the Academy (the class of Alla Vasilyeva), Anna left for Italy, where she played in the orchestra in Florence “OGI” as the concertmeister of the cello group, with such conductors as J. Noseda, C. Abbado, R. Muti, J .Tate and others. Anna won first place at the “Anemos XV” competition and second at the “Nuovi Orizzonti” competition in Italy.
Afterwards Anna obtained a master’s degree at the Higher School of Music in Dusseldorf, the class of Nikolaus Trib. After graduation she received an invitation to work at the State Orchestra in Münster. German symphonies, operas and chamber orchestras often collaborate with her. Anna also enjoys playing chamber music in various ensembles and teaches at music schools. Her students take first places in competitions every year.
